University of rhode island Women’s soccer high school clinics - Summer 2010

 

Open to all girls entering 9th-12th grade

Goalkeeper Training Included

The clinics will be run by the Women’s Soccer coaches at the University of Rhode Island: Zac Shaw, Jen Frisch, and Emily Shaw

Session 1:      Monday July 19 – Thursday July 22    5-8 pm $150/player

Session 2:       Sunday August 1    11 am – 4 pm  $75/player

(all sessions include a University of Rhode Island water bottle, Session 2 also includes lunch)

Location: University of Rhode Island Women’s Soccer Training Complex

From Rt. 138 turn onto Plains Rd. (left if you are traveling 138E and right if traveling 138W). Pass the Risk Management building and the open intramural fields.  Follow Plains Rd around the bend to the right and on your right you will see the soccer field fenced in.  It's adjacent to the outdoor track, and the softball field is directly behind it.  If you hit the intersection of Plains Rd. and Flagg Rd. you've gone too far. Park in the ‘Plains Rd Lot’ on your left, just past the field.

What to Bring?: A soccer ball marked with your name, cleats, shinguards, and plenty of water. 

What if it’s raining?: The camp will be held rain or shine, so if it looks like it might rain, wear appropriate clothing.  In the event of lightning, we will locate immediately to the North Lobby of the Ryan Center (the basketball arena, a short walk from the field) to wait it out.
